EGI awards Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for its training functions. Included in this program would be short courses and field seminars.

This is a nationally recognized unit of achievement that is based on 10 contact hours being equivalent to one CEU.

The CEUs are customarily awarded by organizations that have a continuing education program under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and with qualified instruction. EGI meets these requirements.

For EGI members, records have been kept since May 2005 on all EGI courses taken that qualified for this credit.

EGI also provides PDH’s on informational seminars only.  10 PDH’s are equivalent to 1 CEU.  Our Annual Corporate Associate Meeting is one example of this opportunity.
